Family Fishing Fun Day June 8, 2019
In celebration of World Oceans Day on Saturday June 8th, Kīlauea Point Natural History Association and the Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge offered a special Family Fishing Fun Day at the Kāhili area of the Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge, serving Kīlauea community youth ages 5 to 17 and their families. Mahalo nui loa to Kristen Kelly, State of Hawaii Division of Aquatic Resources - Marine Wildlife Program, for partnering with Kīlauea Point Natural History Association to present a very informative session about marine debris in the uninhabited North Western Hawaiian Islands and its impacts to the wildlife in the Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument. This free talk was part of our celebration of World Oceans Day 2019. Kristen helped us all become inspired to change how we live!
Charity Walk - May 11, 2019

Lighthouse Anniversary Day
On Saturday, May 4, 2019, the Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge ʻohana teamed up with KPNHA to present this annual event, celebrating the 106th birthday of our beautiful lighthouse!
“KAI” Ocean Art Show 2019
