Kīlauea Point Natural History Association (KPNHA) operates the Nature Store and Visitor Center located at the Kīlauea Point National Wildlife Refuge. As the nonprofit Friends group that supports the work of the Refuge, we provide financial support, along with complementary education and outreach programs that further the mission of the Refuge.

This part-time (under 20 hours per week) position is a key member of our ‘ohana, supporting the customer service and retail sales goals of the Kīlauea Point Natural History Association (KPNHA) Nature Store, helping to fulfill the mission of KPNHA and supporting the Kauaʻi National Wildlife Refuge Complex.
Key Responsibilities: Provide excellent customer service and share our organization’s spirit of aloha, support our revenue goals by assisting guests in conducting purchases of Store merchandise, provide customers and visitors information about the Refuge and helping to enrich their visit, and stocking and maintaining a clean and attractive store environment.
Skills Required: Team player, passion for customer service, experience in a retail environment, strong communications skills, enthusiastic and positive attitude, flexible schedule, and ability to resolve problems in a constructive manner.
